As a native of Wisconsin who has received training in varied places, it is a privilege to be back to offer psychological health services in my home state. I initially received my Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989, and went on to obtain a Masters from Loyola University of Chicago in 1992. This education allowed me to serve in both inpatient hospital and outpatient psychiatric settings until I completed my Ph.D. from Boston University in 2003.
Prior to entering private practice, much of my work has been focused on treating patients with anxiety and depression, survivors of emotional/physical trauma, health conditions, addictions, and/or family system disconnection. My training in skill based psychotherapy, spiritual resources in psychology, and medical ethics, has shaped me to assist clients in weaving together a bio-psycho-spiritual path to their own healing.
